RaidoTour

From your desk to national networks and local stations, America is your audience—thanks to our RadioTour (radio media tour, or RMT) service.
RadioTours offer you and your spokespeople both stability and security in a complex and dynamic medium—helping you fill the “audience gap” that relying on just print, TV/video, and online interviews can cause. They save you time and effort, while rewarding you with great results—especially when it comes to hard-to-reach audiences.
Our RadioTour service includes:
  • targeting networks and stations, based on any demographic or geographic parameters
  • writing a media advisory and/or suggested interview questions
  • personally scheduling the interviews
  • moderating the interviews
  • a comprehensive usage report, plus an audio recording of the interviews
Interviews are usually scheduled for a single spokesperson, over one or two days. We can also handle larger campaigns—including Spanish-language projects.

Ways Your Story Might Air

1

Radio News Packages

With a sound bite from your expert work well for news announcements, studies, and rapid response communications. They can generate nationwide coverage, or you can target specific markets or states. Radio News Packages air on stations coast to coast. We pitch your story directly to radio newsrooms.

Your news requires smart strategies for effective, timely distribution and coverage; our Radio News Package service for audio news releases (or ANRs) can help.

We can design a customized radio campaign—including national, regional, or local distribution; English- and/or Spanish-language productions; and outreach aimed at specific audiences.

Our Radio News Package service includes:

  • scriptwriting and, if needed, translation
  • full audio production, which can involve…
    • o recording the spokesperson(s)
    • o editing the soundbite(s)
    • o adding voiceover narration
  • targeting networks and stations, based on any demographic or geographic parameters
  • personal outreach to news directors and other newsroom staff
  • a comprehensive usage report
For messages that are more lifestyle-focused or evergreen, we also offer 60-second ConsumerFeatures: a similar, branded service that includes soundbites from your expert spokesperson—and that can be thought of as a “mat release” for radio.

Your audio is also great multimedia content for your website and social media; for various examples, visit http://soundcloud.com/north-american-network.

INTERVIEWS

Allow a spokesperson to be interviewed by several radio outlets in different media markets within a few hours. Our client spokespersons have aired on Networks like ABC Radio, Fox News Radio, and Washington DC’s #1 News station WTOP-FM, plus coverage via statewide networks such as Virginia Radio Network, Texas State Network, and many more, delivering messages to millions of radio listeners!

3

Consumer Features

When you have timely consumer messages that are less urgent than an audio news release, we distribute “softer” news-features that can stand alone, or work as a series. These 60-second features can include soundbites from your expert spokesperson.

Consumers are listening! ConsumerFeatures are 60-second audio segments that include consumer and lifestyle news—and feature your expert spokesperson. They’re regularly distributed to radio outlets nationwide—and can be thought of as “mat releases” for radio.

ConsumerFeatures provide branding and awareness; your spokesperson is the featured expert, sharing helpful tips on a variety of topics. These audio features also provide great results—with a nationwide audience reach in the millions, plus airings in top markets.
Our ConsumerFeature service includes scripting, audio production, national distribution and outreach, plus broadcast usage reporting. Features are also available in Spanish. And, if you’re already doing a campaign aimed at TV, we can work from your existing, video-based materials.
Your ConsumerFeature audio is also great multimedia content for your website and social media. Here are some examples…

Public Service Announcements

Promote social messages. They do not require a news hook, yet generally benefit from creative, captivating approaches PSAs work especially well for educational, health, and safety topics.

Public service announcements (PSAs) are an important part of radio stations’ programming. They can also be an effective and low-cost way of getting your earned-media message out to the public.

We can customize all aspects of a PSA campaign—from development and scripting, to production, to distribution and outreach, to reporting. And, if you’re already doing a campaign aimed at TV, we can work from your existing, video-based materials. We can also specifically target different audiences and/or geographic areas—and then produce alternate versions for them, including in Spanish and other languages.
What’s more, even though PSAs are usually associated with either a non-profit organization or a government agency, they can definitely still work for companies that are part of an educational coalition or campaign. Plus, for messages that are more consumer- or lifestyle-focused, we offer 60-second ConsumerFeatures: a similar, branded service that includes soundbites from your expert spokesperson—and that can be thought of as a “mat release” for radio.
